Hey guys,
Am finding this learning of Hamlet a pain in the arse, i cant understand half of it: Now on act 5, i still dont really know what is going on. anyways... we're expected to have character profiles done for characters:
Hamlet (5 for hamlet)
Claudius (4 for Claudius)
Horatio (4 for Horatio)
Gertrude (2 for gertrude)
Fortinbras (3 for fortinbras)
Laertes (3 for laertes)

We need to state a trait, back it up w/ a quote, and then explain....
Im struggling to even find one for each in Act 5 scenes 1 and 2....

So if anyone can help me, it'd be much appreciated

If you get the educational company book there are notes on the characters at the back.Also you can buy the notes book by the educational which has good notes on the characters.Suprised you have to write one on Fortinbras,really only comes into the play in the last scene.

they are for the last Act. Act 5 both scenes.

It's not clear what exactly you're looking for, do you want your homework done for you?

If you don't know what's going on, you need to start at the beginning, pronto, and read all the summaries, either in your book or online. There's no point in trying to study one act if you don't know the basic plot.

Your teacher just wants you to find a characteristic of Hamlet in that act and back it up with a quote, then write a few lines about it. "Hamlet is X, I know he is X, because he said ".....". This means that....."
