Package holidays - cheaper from NI than from ROI?

Looking on teletextholidays.co.uk, it looks like a weeks holiday in Majorca, for example, is about £110 (at least) per person cheaper if flying from Belfast rather than from Dublin. Is this the norm, in peoples' experiences? If so, I don't mind the drive up to save such a substantial amount..

It is normal alright.

I have tried doing it in the past and it is hard to get them to book them if you don't have a UK address. Also their compulsory insurance does not cover non UK residents.

If you can find an agent to book it you will save money.
