    Hi all

Im very new and it took me an hour to find how to set up a thread:D.
Im big into kayaking ang it seems it is hard to come across websites with stuff like semi-dry cags.
The only good site is the great outdoors (that i can find anyway) and i think with a bit of looking round i can get better prices.
So if anyone knows a good store near dublin or a good site please let me Know.:)

ps. im sorry if its in the wrong catagory.

You can order gear online from these guys or even better drop in for fittings and advice http://www.i-canoe.com/

You can also keep an eye out for second hand gear here http://www.irishfreestyle.com/tags/forsale

Great Outdoors is a rip off in my opinion..

    Hope this helps.

Des at Deep Blue also stocks and sells gear - try their site or drop him a line.
    All high quality gear.

No worries - they are a great group. Good mix of folk so if you do get out with them you will have a blast as well as maybe picking up some gear.

Check out the links on his site as well for the ISKA site.

    Check out these guys http://www.kayakhut.com/index.htm

It's a new site and they have more stock arriving soon.

I know the guys involved are kayakers, so their advice will be spot on.

for second hand kit, take a look at the boats section on irishfreestyle
    http://www.irishfreestyle.com/forums/buysell/boats
its the main spot in ireland for second hand kit.
for new i would recomend i-canoe. you should also look into joining a club. club members will be able to provide peer mentoring and advice on kit.
