    Hi,
Any idea where I get fresh Porcini/Cepe mushrooms in Dublin? Thanks

Don't know specifically if they sell Porcini but I'd say Fallon & Byrne would be a good place to look.

Thanks, but they only sell dried ones. The dried variety are still great, but don't compare to fresh.

Fallon & Byrne do sell them occassionally - I've managed to get fresh porcini there twice. You just have to pop your head in every now and again. Maybe try and ask them when would they usually get their stock in.
But you're right, nothing beats fresh porcini :)

They'd be out of season by now, surely? Autumn would be the main time for them. They have defied cultivation so far as well, as far as I know.
