    simple really, the 7up is been used as a price comparision with tesco and dunnes etc they all do the same go check it out.

    All of them also do it on batchelors beans,barrys tea etc etc its nothing new.

    Loads of places do this with loads of products. The bigger "value" pack often works out alot more expensive per piece / item / kg / whatever than buying several of the smaller everyday size pack. One of those UK price watch programmes had an episode about this three or four weeks ago.
