I was listning to a internet radio discussion about the logo design for the 2012 Olympics, and rumour has it that creators of "The Simpsons" payed the london olympics committe £13million for the rights to the logo design. Clearly as a pure publicity stunt, ther will probably be more of a media interest nearer to the time. Well here it is

Im curious how it doesnt look like an incestual act.Its kind of right in your face isnt it? Or are we all sick and depraved!
Also the shapes are very strange and if the video talkiewalkie posted has its facts right then it doesnt appear to be a theory about the zion/sion part and maybe a blatnant advert gone wrong as a best case scenario which i really doubt.Too much money and thought goes into advertising it just doesnt happen.
Im most cases when alot of money is pumped into designing an advert or logo the subconscious mind is also a target and i believe even archetypal(is that a word? lol) symbols are used.

Also if it was ment to express the number 2012 why is there a dot in there too? 20i2? i dont think so.
Going by archetypes and symbols i would say the simpsons are famous enough to portray with shapes a sexual act.Maybe as a cover for the real logo of Zion?

Well it will be a relief to finnaly get it out of the way and done with so we can all move on with things..or at least thats how they would like us to feel in the run up..if that istrue

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. The Simpsons IS the most popular prime-time cartoon in the world. And I think its the longest running comedy show of all time too.

As for what the world needs, the world needs laughter. The world needs enjoyment. It can't all be about "Who is plotting to kill us now?" or "Why are those underaged sibling cartoon characters engaging in a sexual act?". If people rely on The Simpsons as a source of news and information, then yes, they should really wake up and realise that that is not what the show is about. But for most people, the show serves a better, simpler purpose. It is there for people to enjoy.

Should people take an interest in the world around them and strive to further their knowledge. Of course. But are the two mutually exclusive?

What i was getting at is that the vatican are one of secret societies who are hiding the information that this solar activity and the resultant earth changes are cyclical. Do all these earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes in such a short space of time not make you suspicious enough to think that they might be connected to solar activity?

So the Olympics have been cancelled then?? Where did you get your information? You might provide us with a source that the 2012 games are not taking place please. I would like to go to the Olympics but thanks for saving me the trip....I would hate to arrive in London, find all the venues built but no games happening. :rolleyes:

I just dont understand any of this.

1) Some people think that there's a secret person controlling the world, fair enough. They obviously never heard of democracy (nobody's controlling me!!!).

2) Other people think that this "secret person" is going to create Zion - ie a religious planet, something along the lines of Isreal, a religious state.

3) Now, of all the things this snaeky secret world dominator could do to bring Zion about, CT theorists seem to think that he is advertising his plans? And in a kind-of a "haha, try to solve the puzzle" way? Why would anyone do that? Did hitler ring up england and say "guess what I'm going to do next":eek:

Some people post here to warn others about conspiracies they believe to be true i.e. out of concern. Why do you post here?

Just to answer macshadows question for myself, I post here cos some CT's are true, and its facinating to discuss them. Most however, are not. Its still satisfying to debate them, and hopefully convert those who believe the false ones to seeing the truth.

Right, so they haven't been cancelled then. I mean, if the people organising the Olympics have not cancelled the Olympics, then the Olympics have not been cancelled. Sorry to be pedantic, but what you are saying is completely illogical. I'm not denying that solar activity may cause disruption of the Olympics or even cause them to be cancelled closer to the date. But they have not been cancelled YET.
