some say yes and others say no. Have a look at the contra indications in the pack and talk to your GP

while every pill effects each person slightly differently the ones most likely to give you no libido are the progesterone only ones...

Been on Ovranette, Logynon, Yasminelle and then Microlite....all in the last two years.
All of these gave me regular bouts of thrush, itchy and alomost like an inflamed feeling down there making it too sore to have sex. No weight gain issues except for one week a month looking like the michelen man on Logynon! Also, Zero interest in actually having sex either.
All would be fine for the first three months or so on each pill and then it would start. I always used condoms before. Never actually had sex without one till I went on the Pill. I am 28. Within two days of starting the first pill (ovranette) I was in serious bother - bleeding, bloated, big boobs, thrush. I kept changing them with the doctor's advice .My fiancee is so patient but it annoys me that I can' t be with him properly for a couple of weeks every month.
SO Finally, yesterday, I had the Implanon inserted as the Doc reckons its the oestrogen in the combined and triphasic pills that is causing the problem. The implaon is Progesterone only, so hopefully soon, I will be back to my active self !!!:)
