This may be in the wrong forum mods, im sorry if it is! Basically i need some advice from guys on what to get my boyfriend for Christmas - he's really into comic books/superheroes, loves cars as well. I can't decide what to get him, that won't break the bank and isn't exceptionally childish or cheesy! Was thinkin a model of the aston martin dbs from casino royale cos he loves that car but is that stupid? Alternatively, i know he really wanted to buy a captain america shield, so i could go down the road of comic memorabilia....anyone got any suggestions???

What's your budget? Try eBay for some memorabilia, loads of stuff there

To be serious for a minute..I think the model car is a great idea. You should probably go with that.. Or just get him a trackday experience at mondello.

If you can find out what type of comics he likes you could try pick up a vintage one or special edition.

There's a shop in Paul street shopping center in Cork if you're near here or maybe try online.

amazon.co.uk has a bit of a selection but someone who knows comics might know somewhere better online.

A few weeks ago I saw a big huge book in Easons, all about DC Comics I think...I briefly saw it as I was running through, they might still have it in some stores...

There's no picture but this sounds like it... http://www.eason.ie/look/9780753509050/DC-Comics/Les-Daniels
It's big and colourful so you should see it easily enough or a staff member should remember it
