Xbox Live connection problems

    I've just bought a 12 month gold membership for xbox live. I entered in the code and any time I do, it recognises the card but then error code: 8016a04b keeps coming up. I've checked the xbox website and cant find anything. Any ideas on the problem

    where did u buy the live card from best thing to do is ring them ill get the number for ya

    I bought in hmv in galway. its probably best to ring them so if its not too much bother could you give me the number so
