11 bus goes past it while the 75 leaves you 2 minutes walk away. Hop off the 14A/44/48A or LUAS at Dundrum or Balally and you have about 5 minutes extra on foot.

Is it hard to miss from those stops?

Luas-wise, its not quite 5 mins (for some), but is well under an hour.

[edit] 75 goes from Tallaght-Dun Laoghaire so is not quite the journey you'd like to take, unless a luas to tallaght and come back is an option [/edit]

Sorry, do botht the 11 and the 11/a go past it? Or just the 11/a?

Yes Minister.....The Number 11 (Bare 11,NOT a or b) is the one you want.
It stops directly outside The Goat in both directions.

Journey time would be in the region of 40 min but evening peak time can stretch to an hour on a bad day.

    Cash Fare is €1.80.

The other options,75/Luas Dundrum are only attractive to those who like getting their shoulders back, chest out and swinging their arms as they stride manfully uphill (?) :)

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

Point taken; I probably walk too quick :)

Should have said that if you get off at Stillorgan LUAS, it's a downhill walk which is attractive in it's way and to OP, the pub is at a corner, it is painted yellow and is large so you won't miss it unless you are on the wrong bus. If you are on the 75, get off, head to the traffic lights at Drumafinn Road and walk down the hill.

it's the kilmacud stop you are thinking of, not stillorgan, it's a 10 minute walk straight down the hill to the goat from there. Stillorgan would add another 15-20 minutes to the walk.

Personally I'd get the luas, you will be there in 30 mins from stephens green.

10 and walk will take less than an hour if the 11 timetable is no good. Luas isn't to far away either
