    Hey all.
I have a parkard bell laptop. The thing is my girlfriend tried to play basketball with it! Well she dropped it. The connection in the back that the mains plugs into broke. the pin fell out. I tried to get it fixed by a guy i know cos i was quoted £100 plus by an engineer but he couldnt cos the soldering was too intricate and he was afraid of damaging the motherboard.
I dunno much about the insides of computers so i trust his judgement.
I dont wanna buy a new laptop and dont wanna pay for repair cos its not worth that money. The computer works fine i just cant charge it!
So i was wondering can i get some sort of device that can charge the battery that plugs into a USB?
Or can you get a sort of "dock" device i can plug the battery into to charge it?

    Thanks for any help
    Marty
