Hi there, have been cycling casually for years but only recently started cycling with a club and am enjoying it immensely. Cycling with a group as opposed to slogging on your own is the main improvement for me though using a proper road bike to eat up the kms is also enjoyable. I wanted to find out about organised tours/races/cycles and if there was any central location for finding out about these for the casual Sunday/Saturday morning cyclist. I understand that these are probably going to be for the spring summer months but would be keen to know what is coming up for 2010
    many thanks
    pab

Hey pab, where in the country are you based?

Here is the wiki which gives an snapshot idea of a few months, all depends on distance, gradients, competitive level etc. surf about a few club web sites to see whats in your area also many events will get a mention on this forum as they come up. I'm sure others will answer your question better but start asking around in your club.
