Isuzu 2003 trooper lwb running board brackets

    Hi could some one tell me where a could get running board brackets for a 2003 lwb isuzu trooper.

    To but a new pair will set me back 260 quid. The running boards are grand its just the brackets i need.

    There rotting away.

    Yeah they do that as they were made from cheap shyte steel.

    You also need to check that the numpty that fitted them put them inside the brake lines running down the chassis rail. Believe it or not I have seen the brake pipes squeezed flat.

    There was a lot of different brands of side steps fitted so you need to think of that before you buy any.

    Your best bet is to get someone to knock together a set of brackets for you.

    The brackets were inside the break lines , so im ok there. Yeh i was thinking of that, it would be cheaper to make excat copies of the brackets i have, or get them off a crashed trooper in a wreckers yard.

    There is plenty of them parked at this stage, the only problem is they will probably be just as corroded.

    You probably only need the bit of box section that goes between the 2 plates?

    The brackets i took off are fancy as f&%$.... They were put on well. Getting them off was a differant ball game. I,ll try a few wreckers yards tomorrow. And see what happens. If not, ill make them myself.

    ive got a complete new set of LWB side steps with all brackets and bolts included.
    ill sell the whole lot for €150. im not selling th brackets seperately.
