Just dont put too big a battery in it and your gun wont blow up.

an aeg without a fuse is fine you just need to be more careful, if you have any problems like a lock up you need to stop firing right away, if your going thought that many fuses you might have a problem with your aeg if there always blowing

Just remember that it's a safety feature...and also never replace a fuse until you know what caused it to blow. Personally I'd say the fuse is there as a precaution, and would continue to use it.

Have you tried contacting any retailers about fuses?

Radionics will ahve what you're looking for packs of ten fuses for between €1.30-€4.00.

Fuses blow in airsoft guns more commonly because the fuse is cr@p than an actual problem with the gun. Lots of guns don't use fuses and i personally prefer not to use them. Replace it with a 25/30amp fuse and see how ya get along, if ya dont want to remove it altogether.:)

hardwares have the 13 amp fuses too, will work in most aeg's with a normal set up.

I didnt actually blow the fuse i just broke it while changing to an moe handguard! I found it really difficult to find a 15 250v fuse, but I didnt realise I could just put in a bigger or slightly smaller one. At the minute I have it running with a 3300mAh 9.6v PEQ battery and no fuse, is that too much?
Thanks for the replies so far!

That should be fine, just remember if the gearbox locks up to let go of the trigger and other such instances!

Wouldnt putting a 30amp fuse in there be just as bad for the motor under fault conditions as having nothing?

No, some guns can run a 15-25amp draw so you'll need to be have a fuse rated higher than the current draw if you don't want it to keep blowing.

    25amp's?
Seems a bit OTT for such a small motor. Meh.

Now im actually gonna have to check what mine draws. Curse you and getting me to manually do sh1t! :pac:

It can depend on a lot of things, usually with some Chinese guns where the shimming and assembly isn't as great as it could be. theres a lot more resistance than a nicely tuned gearbox.,:)
