Best place to get glasses/contacts?

    Hi.
    Sorry if it's been asked before, but i got a prescription from an ophthalmologist (for a minor refractive error)- where's the best place to get glasses (a pair that look decent).

    Is it specsavers?
    Want to get something for driving mainly.
    Can you get 2 pairs for the price of 1 in specsavers?

    Also, briefly what are the advantages/disadvantages of contacts.
    Are they more expensive/difficult to maintain.

    Sorry, i'm a bit clueless about this.
    Any help appreciated.
