Just updated the firmware on sigmatek 500 and did a rescan but now channels are listed as 1007, 1008 etc. I had them as 1, 2, 3, etc but cant remember what I did???

Anyone know how to get them back?

Reset the box and rescan the channels. This worked for me. ;)
However I now have a sound problem - see other post.

thanks danjo, I'll give it a go later today. Check your leads for the sound issue ie unplug and plug back in.

i'll let you know how I get on.

A reset you mean back to factory settings and then change language to french.

Don't give up. I re-installed the firmware hoping to fix sound problem and got the same high channels numbers again.

Do a reset. Then change language back to English and then delete the channels. Then switch power off. Power up again and do an automatic scan. You should find the channel numbers are now correct.

Will check the hdmi lead for sound problem
