never thought a guy of his status would stoop so low, its not like he is exactly living like a pauper to warrant this shoite.
I thought all footballers did this sort of thing? It wasnt JT himself sending the emails just his management/pr company. why not make more money if companies want to do it!

Eh, so what? Seems clever on his part iyam. Of course a rubbish publication like The Daily Mail tries to turn something very standard in modern professional sport into something rabble rousing.

My only issue is with how amateur that publication looks. If you're going to try and earn millions by branding yourself, your first step should be to get a decent publicist.

No more pathetic than the Owen brochure.

Thats true, it looks like it was drafted up in 10 minutes.

At least M.Owen 'sold' himself quite well....

I love how they capitalise KICK in the last line just to be sure people get their little pun...

I just got a somewhat similar promotional email from entertainment.ie which was significantly better put together...

Thats it. Your pathetic attempt at a little dig against John Terry gets torn apart from pretty much everyone who has posted so your great come back is Michael Owen selling himself with rolled eyes.

    Your a champ.

As people have said. The daily fail on whats obviously a quite news day take a standard run of the mill pro trying to make extra cash and turn it into a shocker. Weren't they the ones that broke the David Beckham drop world cup bomb story on wednesday?

The only thing I find pathetic is the quality of the poster/email or whatever it is that was used, looks damn amateurish!
