Bedroom TV - Advice

    Hi there,

Looking to get a TV for the bedroom. It would be located more or less head on to the bed, and the distance would be 3.5-4m so I guess 26"+

At the moment have upc analogue feed to the room but I guess that would eventually go and be replaced by a digital feed, so I just want to do some forward planning. Have a HTPC/MCE PC and need to look into an extender (not sure what that is or could it help?) Also as its the bedroom I guess it would be ideal to have a wireless headphone setup while the other party sleeps!!!

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks

    W.

    Hi Whowantstwoknow

The 26PFL3404 make for a great bedroom TV which can be wall mounted should you need normally sells for €399.99 but use our 10% Philips Shop Boards Discount scheme and its yours for €359.99

    www.p4c.philips.com/files/2/26pfl3404_12/26pfl3404_12_pss_eng.pdf

You can plug the digital TV fed into one of thge 2 SCART inputs and your HTPC into the HDMi input no worries.

Now the only problem I see is the TV itself hasn't any audio outputs or a headphone output so attaching headphones to it will be a problem

so maybe this is better suited to you its the next up size wise - 32" and is called the 32PFL5404H
This is a better featured/spec'd TV and uses Pixel Plus processing and offers 3x HDMI, USB, VGA and 2x SCART inputs

This TV sells for €449.99 so using the 10% Philips Shop Boards Discount its yours for €404.99 with a 2 year warranty.

This TV has a Headphone socket so you could plug into it now worries

None of our TV's have a wireless headphone system built in but we do have the new SBCHS8440 RF wireless headphones. The transmitter will plug into the headphone socket and send the signal to the head set via RF. A nice solution and only €49.99

    How do these sound?
