    Funny enough.. never heard of this until I read the Play reviews:
    Great Blu-ray set, only problem with Godfather II

    This is a really good blu-ray set. The sound and picture never looked better, and I think it will never get better. Don't expect modern time HD picture and sound, but expect the best picture and sound given the age of the movie. For instance you see grain, but that's only because it was shot on film.

    The only problem I have is also on disc II. Aprox 1h40m it stopt and fast forwards to aprox 2h12m. I purchased this a year ago and hope that Play.com will still want to help me out. I will let you know if they do.

    error in disc 2?

    does anyone have the same problem with the godfather 2???? it freezes/skip/jump approximately in the middle (1h 41min?)

    Godfather Part II Disc Problem

    Unfortunately there is an error with the Godfather Part II disc which causes it to jump/skip. I have looked it up on the Internet and this appears to be a common problem with the set (a bad batch apparantly have been produced). Play were superb with dealing with the refund though.

    I'd assume Play would have gotten rid of that bad batch by now!

    Fecking awful!

    Have one or two faulty DVD's meself (think my Blu-ray's are fine) including:
    • My special edition of The Goonies (bought solely for the all-new video commentary with the cast) that doesn't include the video commentary, although it's listed
    • My special edition of 'Fight Club' that jumps and skips when
      Tyler spills acid on Norton's character's hand
