Wondering has anyone any experience of using these devices? Thinking of purchasing but dont know where to start in terms of value, spec, price etc . Grateful for any pointers. Thanks

Check in the photography section for threads on these things. I looked into getting one as well a few weeks back but the general consensus in the threads I read is that they aren't really worth it. Most likely bad quality scans etc so if you really like your photos its probably better getting them developed properly.

On the other side, the one advertised in the Irish Times says itll give you a 5MP digital image....how bad can that be?

If you do get one let me know how the scans turn out!!!

Thanks , had a look . The following Amazon link was the best I found . Downside is that customer reviews are dismal.
