Don't believe all the it just works crap about macs. Don't get me wrong they are nice machines and some of the software that comes with them is pretty cool but osx can still suffer from the same problems windows does. I was at an apple training session a few months back and a few of the macbook pros we were having a lot of problems. They kept having to be restarted to keep them working. I'm not saying macs or crap or osx is crap just that they're not as solid as some people perceive them to be.

Did you happen to get the error message it gave you when it bluescreened? We may be able to help you find out what caused it and prevent it.

I wouldn't go believing all the hype either, Macs will still have problems, just the way pcs have theres. It could have been a hardware isue that caused the BSOD. If this was a common occurrence across all Win 7 machines you'd know about it, but yet Windows 7 has been receiving nothing but praise.
    Is you laptop booting properly?

Enjoy spending a fortune on a over rated toy, You're blaming Windows 7 for getting BSOD?

    ignorance.

So what would you do if you got a kernel panic while playing your music on OSX? Switch to Linux? :P

Despite what many say about Windows, a BSOD is not normal. That impression dates back to the 9x days where pretty much anything could crash the system. A BSOD in a Windows NT based system indicates a major problem with some hardware or software and not some random quirk in the OS.
