    Hey

My laptop is a HP Pavaillion dv6000 and my power chord just broke on the laptop side of outlet from the transformer box.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Preferably in Dublin city centre and preferably for below 50 euro!

    Thanks

    Alan

Ill sell you one for cost of shipping - it makes funny noises overheats and will make your touchpad go crazy - ALSO, do not touch the metal around your headphone jacks - it will shock you.

No you probably dont want that. I just got a replacement off ebay - THAT FAILED. Obviously. I wound up getting one from HP direct. Take no chances.

Or get a universal one. But no dodgy refurbs or ebay buys.

Normally on here i'd say buy from Ebay, but Overheal has got a point.
I've had the same experience with the HP knock offs from ebay. The 60watt adapters from ebay have a tendancy to overheat as they cannot provide the required output power. If you are buying from ebay make sure to get a 90 watt adaptor and you'll be fine.

When I got the overheating one it was replaced no questions asked.
