Hi folks just a quick question, I have an Army 1911 M.E.U and now when I attempt to fill the magazine with gas it leaks out from the loading nozzle just wondering if theres a fix for this or will a new valve be required??

    All help appreciated,

Are you filling it so that the gas can is upside down and totally inline with the valve?

yep its just when I've finished filling it the gas leaks out through the valve.

Try lubing up the mag with silicone oil.
If that doesn't work, remove the valve and put some Teflon tape around it and a little silicone oil, it should be ok then.

thats just the way their valve is designed. Similarly TM suffer from the same thing. You can insert a tiny o-ring into the valve from the outside to seal it better while filling if it bothers you. :)

will that be a permanent fix though or only for when i'm filling the mag? beause when i've finished filling the mag it will only seep out, but when its the right way up it absolutely pi**es out of it

If its seeping out when you aren't filling it then you need to oil the rings in the valve itself. the o-ring trick is a permanent thing that helps the nozzle of the gas canister seal better against the valve. :)
