    This is impossible, right?

Is there any version of the data packs available for mobile phones for the iPod Touch/similiar device without a cell receiver?

    Don't say BitBuzz. Just don't.

AFAIK it only has WiFi so it cannot pick up the signals that mobile phones do.
so you would need to be in a WiFi zone to use the net wherever you are.

Or consider the mifi thing from 3? Look it up on their site. It's basically a mobile wifi hotspot using the 3g network. Available pay as you go. Thinking about 1 myself as then you don't need a laptop and mobile broadband dongle anymore. Just carry that and your iPod touch

This seems fairly interesting although I couldn't find any pricing info relevant to mifi on their website. Would it be the plans as the mobile broadband? The price for the wifi modem s €139 at d moment wonder will it go down a anytime soon.
