Guaranteed wooden spoon for Italy again.

I'm gutted for him and it's bad news for the Six Nations as a whole too imo as he always lights up the tournament with his awesome displays.

Well thats a massive sickener for the Italians. 6 nations looks like a even greater uphill struggle now.

What a shame, truly the best 8 in the world at the moment and fabulous captain wish him a speedy recovery.

That's shockingly unfortunate for Italy. That's their best 8, best fly-half and best centre gone in one go!

Ach, gutting. He's my favourite player outside Ireland. We'll miss his incredible one-man-assault on the other five nations this year. A massive loss to the tournament.

Hate to hear of any players getting seriously injured and knee ligaments are always hard to recover properly from. Big loss to Italy and international rugby in general. Hope he has a speedy and successful recovery!
