    Placed my '05 A3 1.6 petrol on Car Zone today, up for 10K, sold the same model and year in 05 for 14K and not as good, just shows you ! Will I sell it is the question ?

    The problem isn't really the price you put it for, the problem is access to credit, there's none.

    I would buy but I keep putting it off. Job is probably fairly secure but not enough to borrow more money to buy when I don't need a car much anyway.

    I don't know if is the way I was brought up I have never understand getting large long term loans (5 years) for a car purchase. I would never longer than 3 year loan for a car & never for full price.

    Did you apply recently Mac ? I have and got a nice bit, I do a lot of Driving now, so need a nice car under me.

    No just really going on what I heard, seems cars are bottom of the pile for any finance.

    sold my E90 320d a few weeks back and made a profit!

    priced correctly, it will sell. my dad also bought an 09 520d M-Sport so people will buy at the right prices.

    Its more difficult to secure credit but it is still available.

    I got a loan for my car and didn't even need to show bank account statements or payslips.
