I have an interview for a full-time FAS course next week. I am currently claiming JSA and rent allowance, also my partner claims credits as a dependant adult from my claim. If i start this course, will any of this be affected or will it just continue as is?

You'll probably end up getting a bit extra for lunch and for your travel to the course.

Your rent allowance shouldn't be affected, and you JSA/B will be replaced with a FAS payment which will be of equal value. If you're unemployed 12+months then you are entitled to an extra €30 per week if you attend a FÀS course (don't ask me why, but that's how hthey operate).

They should both know, but FAS would be better to ask as there is generally less queuing up to do in a FAS office.
