Saleshoo / Alibaba or Something Else?

What do people recommend as the best site to source manufacturers and suppliers? My own observation is that one seems to have access to Alibaba without subscribing (be it limited access) which is not the case with Saleshoo. Saleshoo claims to have 8,000 suppliers which does not seem to a huge amount. There are other sites…

What do people recommend as the best site to source manufacturers and suppliers?
My own observation is that one seems to have access to Alibaba without subscribing (be it limited access) which is not the case with Saleshoo.
Saleshoo claims to have 8,000 suppliers which does not seem to a huge amount.
There are other sites like Tradekey which again gives limited access without subscribing.
Do people recommend any particular one?
Is the subscription fee worthwhile?
Are there better sites then those mentioned out there?
