STI Testing - Thinking of doing it

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting an NCT on this fine motor that is myself.

Just have heard stories of things been stuck up ur pipe and scraping da inside of it. I nearly conked out having a blood test so don't know how I'd cope with scraping da insides of my big pipe, lol.

So, I'd appreciate if sum lads that have gone through it could describe it all to me and let me know how it was for them.

Its nothing like that, all they do is stick a cotton bud down there for a few seconds, and u have to give blood. nothing to it. have u any reason to get this done or u just checking?

Had unprotected sex last year and in long term relationship now. So just want peace of mind really....

You barely notice the cotton bud at all, and it's over in a second. Really nothing to worry about at all. You also give a urine sample.

As for the blood, just tell the doctor you don't like it and look away.

well ur advised to get tested every 3 years, and if ur having a lot of unprotected sex then more often. Must really get myself one, its been awhile

well if you're in a long term relationship now you should definitely get one done, BEFORE you sleep with your girlfriend, it's worth a few minutes of discomfort in all fairness

Its simple, i used to be as squeamish as you like when it came to any kind of medical testing but you pee in a cup. they take a tiny blood sample, and you get a swab inside your knob but it doesnt hurt, its just a tiny bit uncomfortable for a few seconds, this notion that a metal umbrella scrapes the inside of you is an urban myth
