Hi All, just wondering if anyone can recommend any gyms to me that do some sort of grappling in the rathmines area. I'm a beginner, on a budget and a bike unfortunatly so can't really afford some of the more well known gyms right now.

    thanks

I'd say doing judo or boxing will be your cheapest options

They can give you a base for MMA but you will learn a lot of irrelevant techniques

It depends what your goals are really

If you want to be an MMA fighter better to dig deep and go to one of the schools that is producing good fighters

I know there's MMA in Raw Gym ,Richmond St. ,Portobello.
    Dunno about the prices.
Here is a link to one of the clubs.

(I think there are other clubs in the gym ,if you check when you go there.)
