Ireland leading after R1 on 14 under par - not bad shooting by Rory and McDowell!

    Argentina -11
    Japan -10

Great scoring from him and McDowell, pity he'll be representing GB in the olympics though. Himself and Hrrington would have been a great pairing

Anyone hear Poulter this morning roaring at the top of his voice at spectators, after shanking his 2nd at the 16th, it seemed as if someone in the crowd had caught his attention prior to the shot.
When he reached his ball to play his third he roared something like "quiet" to the crowd.

    Very Strange behaviour.

I was half watching some of it over lunch and I saw him hit what looked like a shank to me.... but before he hit the shot he was just about to play and had to step off the shot and it looked like he was glaring over at the crowd. I didn't pay it much attention so don't know the full story...

He has far too many for a professional golfer, he was disturbed but regrouped and then made a bollix of it. The next episode was bizarre, just reached the ball, heard a phone ring about 50 yards and just roared something at the top of his voice.

    Complete tool!

McIlroy had to back off his tee shot at a par 3 twice yesterday (once in the middle of his backswing) due to either a phone or camera going off. McIlroy said nothing but McDowell was livid. This was around the 16th. Tbh if you had to ensure that all day long I'd be peed off too.

Another brilliant showing by Scottish golf... last.

-2 was never really gonna be enough to win it for the Irish today. Stilla good showing from them though.

Watched that and thought for certain it was going in but just held up short and the Italians weren't going to be able to get up and down from the bunker, they did and unfortunately wasn’t meant to be, great challenge from the Irish

would that be from the drivers head?

Pity the guy's came up short. They will rue the 10th green. The Italians sank some great putt's and Gmac was unlucky on the 18th.
