    Hi

Thinking of getting my Dad a plus-in TV USB for his PC for Xmas, but unsure of what works in Ireland. Any ideas would be most welcome.

    Thanks

I'm using the Avermedia A815 which is a DTT only receiver (non-analogue), which should also suppport HD at some point

This works great with Avermedia's own software and Windows Media Centre on Windows 7 and supports time shift recording

This is single tuner, so if you want to watch one station while recording another, you would need something with a dual Tuner

Its also possible to watch these recordings on my TV via a data stick into my PS3
(or you could look into Sony's Play TV dongle for the PS3)
