Best way to travel from Portarlington to Monasterevin?

Traveling from Galway to Monasterevin on Friday and it seems train as far as Portarlington might be the best bet so far. What would be the best way to travel on to Monasterevin itself then from Portarlington. Arrive in 12.38 apparently. Is it far in a cab, how much would it be?

    Thanks for your help.

There is a train station in both, but Monasterevin has a limited service.

If you travel via Dublin, make sure to bring a print out of this with you.

Thanks Victor but the limited train service is where the problem lies. Any other ideas?

Monasterevin is only about 5 or 6 mins car drive from Port.
Taxi should cost about 10-12 euro.
    McCann's 057 8623056
    Whelan's 057 8623375

Thats all i can recall off the top of my head. I'm sure there's no.s at the station.
