    Hi,
Just looking up return ferries from France to Ireland in early Jan and there seems to be none to Ireland after the 2nd Jan. I was looking into getting ferries from France to England with the intention of driving to Ire from there. Dont know what the best port to sail into in England is or which is the shortest/ most suitable to drive to Ireland.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Its possible that you can only book a certain time into the future.

Which ferry you decide on should in part be based on where you are coming from and going to.

Rosslare-Le Harve makes more sense for Paris and the east, Cork-Roscoff makes more sense for the west and south west.

You also need to consider the likely weather and the risk of cancellation or delay and the level of sea legs that your passengers have.
