Would anyone know how much it costs to rent a dvd in xtravision these days?

    €5.35 I believe for a new release
A boxset is €10 per week

There are loads of oldish films, you can get 5 for a week for €7, I think that's great value

I've no idea what the price is for Bluray

5.35 for a single new release for one night, 10.50 for 2 for 2 nights and 13 for 3 for 3 nights.

They also have some midweek offer in which you can rest 3 new releases for 3 nights Monday-Thursday for cheaper.

There's an offer in Xtravision at the moment which is four new releases (DVD or Bluray) for four nights for 10 euro which is a cracking offer. The only problem is, as I've found out, you tend not to get watching them all all of the time.

The new releases deals are decent. You can rent 3 for 10 euro for 3 nights or 4 for 13 euro for four nights. The problem is finding decent movies to watch.

All down to competition, if there is a chartbuster in the same area you get cheaper pricing from xtravision, thus cheaper in Kilkenny or Clonmel but I Xtravision only video store in cahir so they can screw u over

All XtraVisions should have the same pricing. Are you sure that wasn't a midweek price?

5.35 is a crazy price for one rental.
it costs €2 a night in chartbusters, but the definitely have a poorer choice.

If you like to rent. I would of thought that lovefilm would be the way to go

    who still rents?
You're on boards so I'm gonna make the assumption that you have net access...why rent?
