You could always get one of those little marque tents and shove it up out back? Just a lil roof thingee, very cheap, usually 20 - 30. Great little things, prop em up and take them down in a jiffy! Only con there would be weather permitting...

As for entertainement? Get a DJ or if you have older friends or siblings, get them to DJ if your on a tight budget? Now im not talkin about a €300 job but just someone who has some speakers and has a fair few CD's.
People don't generally get bored at parties, especially if they're mixed  everyone makes their own fun.

Get lots of food and sweets and anything that will rot your teeth, a cake and make sure to hide anything valuable that may get broken!

EDIT: just thought of a few more things :D -- Make it a themed party? Summer time/Beach wear, 80's, general costume party! You could always stock up on non alcoholic beer although this can be an issue with some teenagers parents. Make different "cocktail" drinks like punch etc.
Get a chocolate fountain or other foody things that involve people participation, like fondue sets or things like that!
