Changing cinema booking times - possible?

Anybody know if you can change cinema booking times in the Savoy, O'Connel St?

Booked 2 tickets for a 6.15pm showing for this Sat coming & in the meantime our plans have changed. Trying to move the tickets to the 8.35pm showing.

Omniplex say they can't reschedule from their side; "no money back, no rescheduling" policy. Said to try dropping into the Savoy & they "might" be able to do something for me.

Asked if I could phone Savoy instead as I don't live in Dublin; they have the Savoy on speed dial but couldn't transfer me to the Savoy due to their policy. :(

Has anybody successfully rescheduled a booking before to a different time (same film) or know the Savoy's ph number? All numbers to the Savoy online lead back to Omniplex's booking line (i.e. dead end). Tks.

Dont see why they wouldnt, if not just show up at the later showing, the people tearing the tickets probably wont even notice tbh, i did that job once, it sucked

Thanks Krudler, I don't see why they wouldn't either, its still business for them plus the more accomodating they are towards customers the more repeat business they're likely to get. Not an Irish business/service mentality though. Their booking website doesn't even mention any cancellation/rescheduling policy either before or after the point of sale :(

I've never pre booked with Savoy/omniplex but I have done with UCI alot and as long as you contact them 12 hrs (and I think even up to 2 hours) before the beginning of the movie they will change the booking for you. I bet Savoy is something similar. Good luck!

Thanks Skinfull, thing is as I can't contact the Savoy (no phone number, goes straight to Omniplex booking line who say they have a no-rescheduling policy) I can't do that in advance without actually going into The Savoy. Point is plans have changed so can't make the earlier showing, nevermind 2 hours before the earlier showing. Looks like Omniplex have left me with no choice but to try Krudler's suggestion.

I live just round the corner from the Savoy. I can run in and see if you like...but then no they will probably want CC details etc...feck it. the old plead innocent if they notice something when you hand them the tickets. That worked for me once in Movies at Swords. Hope its not a sold out movie.

Just went to the Savoy ticket desk at about 5.30pm, asked if the later showing was booked out (it wasn't) and asked to reschedule my tickets to the later showing: "sure, no problem". Ticket agent signed the back of my ticket with the later time & voila. No problems. :D
Omniplex need to add their policies re ticket exchange/rescheduling on their site though.
Thanks to the previous posters for their input. Over and out...

Well the guy at Omniplex support was "super". I called to see if I could change a booking from 20:30 tomorrow night to tonight.

    Emmett: How can I help
Me: Hi, just called to ask about changing a booking I have tomorrow night?
Emmett: Tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable
Me: But I just want to go early than I booked?
Emmett: Tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable

A robot would have been more helpful.

Its not like they won't be getting there money?

It doesn't mention anything about them being non refundable and non exchangeable in the booking email or on the site!
