    Which is it.

There can be no god without the bible.

Why would you put so much faith into a bronze age story.

Surely god should have been here 1st. If that is true then why didn't he just write a simple bible, why did it have to go from ancient superstition through torah/koran, then get re written to portray him as a loving pacifist. Why would he have allowed any other religion to exist.

You asked in one thread what is a Christian, now you're asking what they believe??

While I think there is a point here regarding the changes between the Old and New Testaments and the existence of multiple holy texts, wording it with "Bronze Age Story" is just going to annoy people.

    IBTL:)

The Christian answer is of course that the Bible is the Word of God, so we would have to say both.

This is a pretty pointless thread!

I believe in the God of the Bible.
My faith is not in the book. My faith has been placed firmly in the hands of Jesus.

patmartino: it is obvious that you know very little about Christians and their faith. If you are interested in coming to understand it more you have many here who are willing to discuss such matters.
Although I would have to say that your attitude and approach is starting to wear thin.
