    Is there any good online site that sells reasonably cheap but newish laptops preferably not acer or asus? Any info greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried komplett and elara? Probably the cheapest sites I'd trust here. With the xchange as it is, Amazon.co.uk will probably have some good deals either, free delivery too
