Just wondering if anybody knows how to wire-up an extension lead to an existing Eircom box. Its the standard issue with two screws on the front, which when removed offer all kinds of connections to L1 L2, etc etc . . .
One white & one orange wire currently connected to the box, but how should I procede to wire an extension for upstairs Phone & Broadband?

    Wiring pictures would be handy/
    Thanks in advance.

Just run a cable off the back of the connected wires. Or, better again, put a double adapter in the front, and run an extension cable off it. This is simpler, and doesn't involve opening up the phone socket. I there's internal wiring already in place, then connecting it in the socket is probably the way to go.
