Hi guys. Not sure if this belongs in the motors forum but here we go.

I have a relatively older car with a radio cassette, and rather than replacing the cassete player witha cd player, is there some adapter I can buy to play my MP3 player through the existing set up? I bought what was advertised as just this on Ebay but to no avail.

FM transmitter and tape adapter are both less than satisfactory.
You can get a CD/MP3 player with USB port and what looks like an input jack for 61.5235 EUR(inc postage and discount code) from Maplin UK.

i had the adapter you are looking for, its basically a cassette tape with a wire coming out of it that goes into the earphone socket in the mp3 player. I bought it in one of the electrical shops like dixons i think for about a tenner. works fine.
