Vladimir Kozlov defeated Goldust. R-Truth defeated Dolph Ziggler.

ECW

Dark Match:
*Kaval (Low Ki) defeated Paul Burchill.
ECW:
Shelton Benjamin defeated Zack Ryder.
ECW champion Christian challenged Shelton Benjamin to a ladder match for the TLC PPV.
Vance Archer defeated an unnamed competitor.
Matt Hardy was the guest on the Abraham Washington Show.
Yoshi Tatsu defeated William Regal. Regal blamed it on Ezekiel Jackson, who turned babyface and laid out Kozlov and Regal.

Smackdown

Smackdown opens with Chris Jericho in the ring discussing the TLC match for the Unified Tag Team championships at the TLC PPV. He then turns his attention to the announced Batista vs. Kane match tonight, noting it will name the new top contender for the Undertaker's World championship. He claims he should be in the match. Teddy Long comes out and announced Jericho vs. The Undertaker in a non-title match for later.
The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Time.
Backstage, Vickie Guerrero and Eric Escobar demand Teddy Long grant Escobar a Intercontinental championship bout. Long makes the match and says it will be his only shot.
CM Punk comes out with Festus and a brown paper bag. Punk introduces Drew Gallows (that name may not be 100% correct but that's what it sounded like), formerly Festus. Punk said his friends gave him pills in the past and that's why Festus was in the state he was in, but that's in the past. Punk said that what he has inside the bag comes out 12/1 and he's scared that it will be available to the public. Punk pulls the Jeff Hardy DVD. Out comes Matt Hardy, who defends his brother. Matt Hardy defeats CM Punk by DQ after Festus interferes. They beat down Hardy afterwards. Backstage, Mickie James is asked about Michelle McCool's video last week. James said that no matter how juvenile Layla and McCool get, she's worked hard to get here and she's not leaving Smackdown.
Batista defeated Kane by countout to become the new number one contender to the World championship.
WWE Intercontinental champion John Morrison defeated Eric Escobar. After the bout, Vickie Guerrero yelled at, slapped and spit on Escobar.
Backstage, Escobar and Guerrero argue. Escobar tells Vickie that she makes him sick and every time she kisses him, he has to wash his mouth
out with disinfectant. He tells her they are over.
World champion The Undertaker defeated Chris Jericho by DQ. Batista was at ringside doing commentary. Batista attacked Taker as he was setting up a tombstone. The episode ended with Batista beating down Taker. After they went off the air, CM Punk hit the ring to take part in a three on one beating of Taker. Kane hit the ring for the save.

So, Ezekiel and Kane have turned babyface. Ezekiel will do little as a babyface and Kane, I'm not really sure about yet

And Festus has turned heel. At least he's now doing something. Matt Hardy is getting beat down (again) and Batista/Taker Part ? is now happening

to be honest this time they might be doing her a favour as i remember reading that they were not happy with Escobar and were not sure about pushing him. So to me it now seems they may be extracating Vicky from the sinking ship Escobar and that he may sink back to FCW or atleast ECW while she is given a better role/person to manage on SD.

what also stood out for me was Low Ki getting a win over Burchill in the dark match, wonder how far off TV he is? hope he stays fit and healthy

For the first time in a while SD looked pretty crappy

I think Vickie should manage Dolph Ziggler. Low Ki working a dark match sounds promising. And I hate to say it but the Festus-Cm Punk story is the best thing Punk got in a month or two anyway. Look at his feuds up to now.From an amazing one with Jeff Hardy to a meh one with Taker to a feud with a ref then with R-Truth. I hate to see him lowered from being a M.E heel to needing a bodyguard.

maybe but they coule have made the break with her looking stronger...they shouldnt have to degrade the poor woman AGAIN!

Giving away Jericho/Taker for free is retarded in the extreme. One of the few fresh Main Event feuds they have left, with two of their biggest Superstars and a potential Mania Main Event and waste it on a throwaway TV Main Event. If TNA did it we'd all be whinging.:mad:

To be fair Smackdown has been in a decline since Jeff left. Edge’s presence is missed and with Rey also out its not going to get better anytime soon.

Yeah that was madness. Its not as if they have that many fresh feuds to work with as it is.

Great match it was too, would love to see them go 25 mins plus.

WWE give away matches like that all the time. They even have a tendency to give away the ppv main event the show before the PPV.

But the type of match they put on is nothing like the one you would see on the PPV. So I don't mind.

After Watching smackdown it wasn't a bad show at all. The spoilers don't so a show justice most of the time.
