Prefixes in the Events forum?

If you go to the Development forum you'll see that a lot of teh threads have a prefix - [Question], [Noob] being the two you can see.

Basically when you start a thread in there you get prompted to provide the prefix and that helps people identify the threads.

I was thinking something similar would be useful in our Events forum, not so much to identify the type of event but to identify where it is. So we could have [Dublin], [Leinster], [Munster], [Connaught], [Ulster], [Europe], [Other]. Might help people browsing for localish events who aren't that hot on geography (people like me, basically!)

We could have additional categories - adventure race, tri, but I don't think that's needed really?

    Thoughts?

Could be handy as if I don't recognise the name of the event in the thread title I could miss things going on local'ish that I might be interested in.

Assuming that everything happens in Dublin has worked pretty well so far though. ;)

Yeah I think that could work
Sometimes a new thread is started with either just a town name or else no location mentioned at all
Maybe you might consider using a county prefix instead of a province prefix?

I think though that if you're going to put in either county or province that maybe just leave it at that, and also restrict it to events forum (not main)

Everything else seems to be working grand so no need to change?

County prefix might make it even more complicated for those of us not so hot on the geography. ;)
