    Anyone cook this at all?
    A friend of mine cooked it years ago as he used to study in Russia.It's bloody gorgeous.

    yes, I've made my version of Borsht before - very nice.

    I used beetroot and red cabbage and flavoured it with caraway. I also used chicken stock - it should be made with beef stock - but that didn't do it any harm.
    I'd highly recommend making this soup:P
