    Hi folks,

My GF's 9 month old unibody 13" Macbook is booting up (makes the sound, volume keys make sound, can be shut down) but the screen, while still lit, remains blank.

I'm trying an external monitor with it tomorrow but otherwise I'm stumped!

    Any suggestions?

Also she's in the middle of a massive college essay (classic...), if the Mac has to be repaired I'm thinking I can pop out her hard drive and put it into my caddy so she can use my Mac to finish it while the repairs it. Anyone forsee any problems with this approach or is it possible to this blindusing some clever networking trick?

Can anyone recommend any where for repairs?

Thanks in advance for any help!
