Boyfriend may have used escorts!-help!

    Hi,

I was recently looking through my bf web history and spotted that he had googled 'dublin escorts' one evening. Bearing in mind, this was a night I was away with the girls. And had googled it again a couple of months later.

When I confronted him, he said he was just bored as I was away and 'curious', as I saw that he had looked up porn also, which I understand is quite normal. He said there is no way he would ever use hookers. We have a fairly healthy sex life and together for over 5 years. I am just such a doubting person, that I really don't know whether to believe him or not. And there really is no way of truly knowing! He has gotten a lapdance before too which he lied about until I caught him out on that too. I think that incident has really affected my trust in him.

I dont know what to do - just believe or if I dont fully believe then leave. We are coming to the stage of discussing marriage soon, heading for our thirties and I'm really worried this may haunt me forever if I dont leave him.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest I wouldn't be overly worried. Goin unreg now cause I have to admit I've done it before while in a relationship (looked up sites that is). It's just another form of porn. But it feels more real cause the girls he looks at on the site are actually available to him(not that he'd ever use them.) That's my 2 cents anyway.

Yup, probably just perving. A healthy pursuit. ;)

Oh god, I hope that is all! But why would he specify 'dublin'? I've checked the site and I'm sure there are far better sites out there for perving!
And I also saw there are sooo many reviews of "encounters" with these girls, I couldnt believe the amount of them, which is making me think this is more of a common thing for guys to do than I thought. I cant believe the amount of girls available on it and the amount using them!!

OP -get real. If he went on a car site it doesnt mean he has bought a car or on a cinema site doesnt mean he has gone to a movie.

Honestly, I dont think this is a big issue at all. Everyone is curious over different things and just because he was on a website, it doesnt mean anything

You have been together 5 years, you have an open and honest relationship as you asked him out straight why he was on that site and he told you he was curious

The rest is up to you. If you believe him, grand, if you dont think you can, its something you will have to think about yourself and what you want...

why were you checking his internet history anyway? Or is it something you always do?

If your BF looks at them dirty sites he will go blind.

Partizan helpful posts only. Thank you.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Oh you'd be surprised how common it is. Prostitution is booming in Ireland!

However, the fact that he googled 'Dublin escort' is not something that would cause me concern. I think for most guys its just a curiosity thing. Hell, Im a girl and Ive googled Escorts just to see what its all about :)
If he was actually using escorts he would have hidden his tracks a lot better. I really would not be worried If I was you.

I think there are bigger issues at play in your own head than whether or not your boyfriend was having a bit of a perv on the web.

Sorry guys -but I lolled at the customer review comments. I mean its hardly a resterant review in the Times and its a made up advertorial to drum up business like any form of directory or blog. Think of the likelyhood of these reviews being real.:)

I can imagine they make a very entertaining read in a hilarious way.

    Dont' worry.
I'm a girl and I've looked at them tons of times for the crack. Its just curiosity.

Wouldn't worry about OP, alot of guys do it, I've done it before out of curiosity aswell. On the point of the reviews though I wouldnt be so sure there are plenty of bad/nasty reviews on aswell not all just self promotion. I think it is a lot more common than people think.

    Just my two cents.

Why dont you set your bfs internet history to delete each day and then you wont be tempted to see what sites he's been on and worry about them.
