Hey there,

I know this may seem like a letter that belongs in the Personal section but it's just I have a friend (whether I still consider her a friend now is to be debated) and she owes me €870. I gave them a lend of money mainly for a holiday we were going on together and the fee for a FETAC course she's doing. She promised me the money back and it's been three months and I still haven't got a cent from her. Every time I try to contact her, she avoids me and even if I see her she'll just say to me that I'll get the money back and try to dodge the topic.

I was wondering from a legal point of view if I were able to pursue legal action against her? I have bank statements and my other friends who were on holidays with us heard her asking me for money and saw myself giving it to her.
