Train - Dublin to Belfast

    im lookin to go to belfast this saturday but lookin on the net it says that first 3 trains are fully booked, does anyone know if it actually is the whole train or if they keep extra seats for people showin up at the station for it.

    It's probably due to the EUR10 promotional fare. There ought to be seats available from the booking office at the normal fares.

    Ah grand thanks, i dont mind payin the normal fare coz its much handier then the bus anyway

    I have stopped taking the train to Belfast because, special offers excluded, it's much more expensive, usually slower and leaves you further from the city centre.

    Oh really i didn know that, looks like it'll be the bus for me so, i've never been so last thing i want is to be miles from the centre. Thanks for that

    That would be an overstatement.

    Its 0.6 miles from Belfast Central (train) Station to Donegall Place.

    Its 0.4 miles from Europa Centre (bus station) to Donegall Place.
