Brake pads are cheap, check ebay. Get some from a brand that's known like Mintex or similar

Note that they are different for different cars.
What's you cars year and model?

So the garage I went to charge 175euro for pads (front). Cost 35euro for parts won't be getting it done in gowaxxxx.
