    pigeon or rabbit?

    Cheers

And if there aren't any consider this an entrepreneurial opportunity.

There's a market on Thursdays around lunchtime in Oranmore, right behind the astro turf pitch, there's a butcher there[can't remember his name], he's from Peterswell. We've bought pheasant off him. You have to order it a week in advance though.
Also bought venison off him a few times. With the recent crap weather I don't think they'll be there this week.

Wouldn't mind trying some rabbit, I'll ask him next time I see him.

get friendly with people living out the country. pheasants are in season. if you know the right people thez will set you up. otherwise they are like hen's teeth.

Thought there might have been one that is known for it but I'll try and order them from divilly's. Hopefully they can point me in the right direction at least.

Might check out those lidl pheasants although pigeon was the one I was really hoping to get.

Ya i'd say the floods will disrupt that market for a while but should be one for the future.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
